Mark's little Personal Story - and a way to get a free license!

On our site, we give away free numerical reasoning test license to whoever shares a little story with us. You can find more details here. The idea is to, once a while,  hear about those who are going through the process of job hunting or admission preparation. Mark wrote to us, and here's his mini-take:

"Since the Brokerage house that I was working for went into Voluntary Admin. I have been looking for work in the finance industry.

During the last three weeks I have been liaising with numerous recruiters some Proactive some Lazy.

I have learnt that pushing recruiters to get me to face the Stake holders is the best way to get to interview and succeed in progressing through the cattle call.

Once you talk to the actual employer you can sell yourself and personality. The employer views you as a person not just a bunch of achievements on a piece of A4.

That has allowed me to get through and succeed in snaring employment with a Big 4 Bank.

Mark"

Thanks for sharing, Mark - and we hope the tests you get to do on numericalguru will help you further!
