In our blog we've had posts on tips and tricks and some approaches to solving numerical test problems. We've just put up a brand new test for our subscribed members - and it's called "Test your techniques."
and the aim there is to force you to solve a question using some sort of a shortcut or tip we've outlined in our blog.
The idea is to help you practice some techniques consciously and see how they work. There's just 10 questions - but they will give you a hang, especially on popular ratios and elimination. We will, of course, add more in due course.
We've said this before and will say it again - it is very important to know handy little shortcuts to do better in numerical reasoning (and other similar) tests. Trying to solve each question all the way will slow you down - you should know when to eliminate answers, guess, use familiar ratios, approximate calculations, or back-solve - any way to cut those precious seconds.
Happy practicing!
